Blackjack Terminology
Usual play:
If you have 16 or less and the bank has 7 or higher then the player should buy until his total reaches 17 or higher.
If you have 12 or higher and the bank has a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 then you should pass.
- Always split Aces and 8’s unless the bank has an Ace.
- Never split 4, 5 or 10 whatever the situation maybe.
Split other pairs if the bank has a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
Always double on 11 unless the bank has an Ace.
Only double a 9 or 10 if the bank has 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
Tip: according to computer calculations, if the bank has a five as its first card the player has the most chance
of winning because statistically this is when the bank has the highest chance of buying more than 21 points.
