How to Play
How to Play
The objective is to have better cards than bank. A player is dealt five cards and these are the cards the player has to
play with. A player is not allowed to change cards during a game - a player either plays or folds.
A player has to bet an initial bet, Ante. This is the bet that is placed on the table before any cards are dealt. Once a
player has received his five cards and looked at them he can decide to play or fold.
If a played decides to fold then he is stopping and does not wish to bet any further. The croupier will then discard the
cards and remove the ante bet from the table. If the player decides to play then the cards have to be placed back onto
the table and the bet (twice the ante) has to be placed on top of the cards. After all the players at the table have
decided what they are doing the bank will turn his card over, face up and arrange these. The croupier will then start
from his right by taking the players cards and turning them over so that everyone can see. If the player’s cards are
higher than those of the bank, the bank will pay out according to the pay table. If the player’s cards are not higher than
those of the bank the player will lose both his bet and his ante. If the bank has the same hand as the player then this
is a tie and all bets remain on the table.
