Origins:

Roulette is the most common casino game in the world. Where it originated from is not very clear but rumour has it that it was invented in the 10th century by Chinese monks.
It was brought to Europe by a Jesuit missionary –but some say a French mathematician, Blaise Pascal, invented the game. He made many different scientific calculations but there is nothing to support the theory that he invented the game.

Tip: every spin of the wheel at roulette is a new round and has nothing at all to do with the last round or rounds.
